“In Focus: Museum Without Walls” pairs the Artist in Residence program with MU's Museum of Art and Archaeology (MAA) to bring a selection of its works outside for larger-than-life projections. The west facing facade of MU's Agricultural Building will serve as host for three evenings, November 4-6, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The collaboration brings art out of the museum at a particularly important time given that the MAA is in transition to a new space, with its collection packed up and galleries closed. The projection series also highlights the value of public art experiences that bring art out into the everyday. Student writing, paired with the MAA's curatorial staff's, will be featured in some of the accompanying text projected each evening.
